Linear Phase Graphic Equalizer
OverviewA quick and fast (but don’t call it dirty!) linear-phase 5 band graphic equalizer. Clean and transparent filtering courtesy of zero phase distortion over the whole frequency spectrum/range. The VST Plugin is still in beta and available for download. I appreciate any feedback you have, especially if you experience any problems.
Under the Hood
- Five 256th Order (@ 44.1kHz) Linear-Phase FIR filters
- A low latency/group delay of 2.9ms, fully compensated in plug-in latency compensated hosts (as compared to 60ms in Waves Lin-EQ)
- Smooth (hamming window) rolloff
- +/-12dB per filter fader

Overview
Do you prefer the sound of a minimum phase filter over linear phase? No problem. This 5-band Minimum Phase graphic equalizer uses the same cutoffs as the linear phase but with near zero latency and faster processing (shorter FIR lengh). The VST Plugin is still in beta and available for download. I appreciate any feedback you have, especially if you experience any problems.
